You've probably heard by now,Katy Perry,25, is engaged to British comedian Russell Brand, 34, after just three months of dating. According to the pop star's rep, Brand popped the question to his lady love on New Year's Eve in a tent at the foot of a mountain in India. (Who knew the raunchy comic was so romantic?) Most of us might think a whirlwind romance like that wouldn't last, but their pairing just might be crazy enough to work.
Although the "Waking Up in Vegas" singer has found "the one," prior to the proposal she opened up to Glamour magazine about love, men, and more for their special "Man Issue" . Apparently, when searching for her soulmate, Katy was "excited to find a partner who can just be my teammate. And there's got to be respect. For me, that's hard because it's easy for me to steamroll guys. I need a man who tells me the party's over, that it's time to go home, because [we] have to work in the morning."
