Pop star Pink was about to perform the last song of her Nuremberg, Germany, concert on Thursday when her harness malfunctioned, sending her (and a backup dancer) tumbling off the stage. Pink fell right into a steel barricade. In video footage of the accident, a long minute passes while Pink mutters expletives and her helpers and security people try to pull the rock diva back up again. Eventually, Pink appears back onstage, only to apologize to her fans, who cheer her on as she explains that she "might have broke something" and needs to end the show early.

Carrie Underwood has married hockey player Mike Fisher

American singer, songwriter and a Grammy award-winning Carrie Underwood has married hockey player Mike Fisher at a resort in Georgia.

"Yes, Mike and Carrie are married," Underwood's publicist Jessie Schmidt said in an e-mail to The Associated Press early Sunday.

The wedding took place Saturday at the Reynolds Plantation resort in Greensboro, Ga.

Underwood, 27, rose to fame after winning the fourth season of American Idol. Fisher, 30, is a forward for the NHL team.

No details on where Underwood and Fisher will spend their honeymoon have been released.

Ringo celebrates His 70th birthday with `Peace' salute

Ringo Starr with a little help from his friends, celebrated his 70th birthday in New York with a global "Peace and Love" moment. Starr led the salute Wednesday in Times Square to throngs of spectators looking to catch a glimpse of the legendary Beatle. He told the crowd that being in New York was a "magical moment in 1964, and it's still a magical moment."

Earlier, Starr was honored at the Hard Rock Cafe with a cake and a chorus of "Happy Birthday." He waited patiently for staff to bring a cake knife so he could cut his own cake, as is tradition in Liverpool.

Starr wants people from every part of the globe to say "Peace and Love" at noon everyday by word, e-mail or any form of communication.

Lindsay Lohan sentenced to jail

Lindsay Lohan sentenced to jail for probation violation Last July 6,2010. Lindsay showed up in court facing the possibility of jail time after violating her probation. A judge in Beverly Hills noted last month that she wouldn’t put the beleaguered starlet in jail last month after her alcohol monitoring bracelet went off, but Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel still noted that she may sentence Lohan to a jail term for failing to show at alcohol education classes. Lohan is being monitored via the alcohol detection bracelet in conjunction with two DUI arrests.

Revel is also the judge who ordered Lohan to wear the bracelet in the first place, but she didn’t give in to pleas from the prosecution to sentence Lohan after a reading of .03 on the bracelet was registered on June 7. Lohan tested negative for alcohol a few hours after that reading, but the low number indicated only 1-2 drinks, an amount that could easily have left her system in just two hours time.

Noted prosecutor Danette Meyers to the judge, "She clearly violated your order. It makes no sense to have it there if you’re not going to abide by it, and there’s no sanction." Rather than sentence Lohan at that time, the judge instead revoked the star’s probation and ordered her to post $100,000 in bail. However, as the matter of Lohan attending alcohol classes, one of the terms of her probation, was still up in the air, Lohan waited to find out what would happen. As it turns out, Lohan will, in fact, serve 90 days for failing to attend those classes, even though she insists that she thought she was complying with the terms of her probation.

Cage's latest property purchase isn't a new mansion or a shiny car, it's a giant mausoleum in the shape of a pyramid. Nicolas Cage commissioned the 9-foot tall tomb to sit inside a New Orleans cemetery with the stipulation that it serve as his final resting place. The actor is known for being a devotee of the Louisiana city, and is the former owner of several homes inside its city limits.

Tim Urban Voted Off On American Idol

Timothy Joseph "Tim" Urban the 20 year-old American Idol contestant with shaggy brown hair from Texas, was voted off on Wednesday during the "Idol Gives Back" benefit show, finishing seventh in the contest.

Some commentators, including "Idol" judge Simon Cowell, had suggested Urban should have been booted off earlier. But through it all, Urban seemed to have an everlasting smile.

"I smile because I have a really solid grounding and I know who I am, and I know that regardless what happens around me that will always be there," Urban said in a conference call with reporters on Wednesday.

Urban even stayed upbeat last month when "Idol" judge Ellen DeGeneres told him after his performance, "You were walking like you're sneaking into a bedroom."

"That kind of made me smile," Urban said. "I was like, 'Wow, I hadn't thought that you would take that out of my performance,'" he said.

Urban said he sought to learn from the judges' often harsh critiques, but that he also guarded his feelings.

"I realized that if I took it all really, really personally and really let it eat at me, I wouldn't want to go out the next week," Urban said.

Miranda Lambert won the Academy of Country Music Award for best video of the year for "White Liar" and Shelton won event of the year with Trace Adkins for their hit song "Hillbilly Bone." The first two ACM Awards were given out Saturday night at the MGM Grand.

Turns out it was Lambert who convinced Shelton to pitch the idea for "Hillbilly Bone" to Adkins.

It was the third ACM win for Adkins and the first for Shelton, who says the award finally makes him feel like he's been accepted in Nashville.

Lambert is up for five other awards, including album of the year for "Revolution," during Sunday's televised ceremony.

Leading Lady of Taylor Lautner Not Quite Unknown

Latest leading lady of Taylor Lautner is a new face with a name that may be familiar to fans of 1980s pop-rock music. Lily Collins -- the daughter of hit-maker Phil Collins -- will star with Lautner in the upcoming thriller "Abduction."

I love that Siobhan stood up for herself to the judges because she is not a cookie-cut singer who fits perfectly into the genre. She can sing whatever you present her with in her own way and I think that is amazing.
I am so happy that Big Mike got saved last week, and I think he stole back the hearts of America. I find myself so engaged in his performances. He shows his soul, and that's what I like in a singer.

My top three performances of Tuesday night: Big Mike, Lee and Crystal. But at this point in the competition, I feel that it's still anybody's game. I have my favorites, but I think that on any given week, the playing field could shift and I could have a new favorite. That's the beauty of the show -- if you make it to the next week, you get another chance to blow us away!

Alleged Tiger Woods mistress arrested in LA

A woman who said she had an affair with Tiger Woods is due in court Thursday after she was arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended license in West Hollywood.

Jaimee Grubbs was taken into custody Wednesday after a random license plate check of her 2004 Ford Mustang showed she had three outstanding warrants for driving on a suspended license, Los Angeles County sheriff's Deputy Jeff Gordon said.

Grubbs was issued a new citation after it was determined she was still driving on a suspended license, Gordon said.

Grubbs was released early Thursday morning after posting about $30,000 bail. She's scheduled to appear at the Beverly Hills courthouse Thursday morning on the outstanding warrants.

Grubbs, a Los Angeles cocktail waitress, told Us Weekly she had a 31-month affair with Woods and had the text messages to prove it. She also provided the magazine with a voice mail she said came from Woods.

The Woods' scandal erupted following a Thanksgiving weekend car crash and allegations that he had trysts with multiple women.
