The no.1 Boxer of the world Manny "PacMan"Pacquiao was now on the cover of the international edition of the prestigious magazine. After being a guest in a popular Jimmy Kemmel’s late night show , Manny Pacquiao hit another media milestone by being picked as the cover of Time Magazine.
It was the second time since Cory Aquino made it in 1988 that a Filipino became the cover feature of the said time magazine.The last time a boxer made it to the front page was also in 1988, with Mike Tyson, who was then the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
Before being the cover of the Magazine and a guest on Jimmy Kemmel’s late night show, Pacquiao also in the list of 100 of the most influential person in the world and also made as a cover of Reader’s Digest.
The magazine ran a story chronicling Pacquiao’s rise from poverty to become what it calls as the “latest savior in boxing."
Until this time Manny says that he can't still believe that all this things happened in his life. Even though there's a lot of transformation in his life, Manny still remain as humble as he is. He brings an honor to the Filipinos around the world. He saves the hope of the Filipinos victims of many typhoons came.
